The Arabic text comes from the Tanzil Uthmani edition and the Turkish translation from Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır's public-domain rendering. Both are reproduced character for character; nothing is altered or abridged. Every verse carries a mandatory line naming its source. Details: Content Sources.
The summary, explanation, practical takeaway and reflection question below each verse are editorial texts, always marked as distinct from the verse itself. They pass human review before publication. No text is generated by AI while the app is running.
Please write to us — the surah and verse number is enough. If a dispute is raised about a source text, the affected content is withdrawn until it has been verified.
Yes. The Qur'an text, the translation and the daily content ship inside the app. You can read verses, complete your daily reading and receive notifications in airplane mode. The internet is only used to download new content packs and to show ads.
The app is free and ads are how that is sustained. In return there are three rules: no ads are ever shown on verse, translation or reflection screens; no ad appears right after you complete a reading; and you see no ads at all during your first days. Gambling, alcohol, dating, politics and sexually suggestive categories are blocked.
Choose "Ask App Not to Track" at the iOS tracking prompt. The whole app stays available; only the ads stop being personalised. You can change your decision later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Long-press an empty spot on your Home Screen → tap + at the top left → search for Günlük Ayetler → pick the Günün ayeti widget → Add Widget. The app must have been opened at least once for the widget to show the correct content.
iOS Settings → Notifications → Günlük Ayetler. Notification text is composed entirely on your device; no request is made to any server for its content.
Nothing. The app does not blame you, warn you or hold a missed day against you. The streak is built around continuity rather than fragility, and there is a built-in allowance for missed days.
Your reflection notes, mood selections, favourites and name never leave your device. No account is required. The anonymous data that is collected, and why, is listed item by item in the Privacy Policy.
Everything of yours lives only on your device, so deleting the app removes all of it. There is no server-side account for us to delete.
No. Günlük Ayetler is a reading and reflection tool; it does not issue rulings or provide religious counsel. For religious questions, please consult a qualified authority.
